Should I have travelers book for themselves or have dedicated travel managers book for travelers?
Either way works great. Depending on their needs some AmTrav clients have travelers book their own business trip, some have dedicated bookers, some use a mix. Thanks to travel management controls like travel policy, approvals and user profiles you can trust your travelers to book themselves without extensive training or oversight. Other companies with lots of guest travelers (contractors, interviewees) or executives have specific bookers ("coordinators" in AmTrav lingo) who can easily book for others. Book for others is a key feature for AmTrav, unlike competing booking tools, AmTrav always applies the correct policy, profile and corporate travel loyalty accounts for the corresponding traveler, and bookers can even switch traveler mid-booking if they need to.

Shouldn’t I check around to see if I can find a lower fare?
At AmTrav, we drive your productivity: less time and stress on travel, more time and focus on your job. That's why we continually invest in our corporate travel management to pull in every flight and every fare, plus information like amenities and the ability to book seats and extras -- all so you can save time checking around for a lower fare. Plus we have guarantees from the biggest airlines that we're getting their lowest fares, and some even give us discounted fares to share with you. So yes, you're free to check around or check your favorite site, but we have the flights and fares. (We do select just the best itineraries for you, but if you filter for specific times or airlines you can see additional itineraries -- they're there!)

Can bookers see the whole cost of a ticket before booking trips?
Yes! AmTrav goes to great lengths to show the full cost of a ticket, putting as much information as possible on the flight results page so bookers can compare options with full visibility into the features that they want. Fares and taxes are shown, plus first and second checked bag fees, carryon bag fees and change fees, and bookers can preview the seat map to see free and premium seats (with prices for the premium seats).

Why does AmTrav always show Basic Economy, Business and First when my travelers only fly Economy?
Studies show that shoppers feel more confident in their choices if they see not just what they're getting, but also higher- and lower-priced options. Thus AmTrav shows several fares for each flight, arranged consistently for easy comparison: Basic Economy on the far left, then Economy, continuing to Business and super-premium. So your business travel policy can remove the Basic Economy options and flag those premium options as out of policy, but AmTrav shoppers make faster, more confident decisions because they can see all the fare options.
