With your “per trip” pricing model, what constitutes a “trip?"
A trip to us is a single booking per traveler, whether you make it yourself in our online booking tool, on behalf of a traveler, or with the help of one of our Travel Advisors via phone, email, Teams, Slack or chat. Multiple flights, hotels, and cars can all be part of a trip. You don’t have to book everything at once, you can book your flights and later add a hotel – it will still be one trip for billing purposes.

Besides per-trip, does AmTrav offer any other pricing models?
Yes. Some clients prefer to pay a set monthly subscription fee, a percentage of their spend, or a per-user fee. We can work with those. Let us know what works best for your organization's needs and we'll find a model that works for both of us.

Are there fees to make changes or speak to a Travel Advisor?
No! There is no extra AmTrav charge no matter how many changes you need to make (separately, airlines or hotels might have their change penalties). That way you'll never hear "Why did I get charged $40 extra" or "I wouldn't have called them if I'd known about the $40 charge" from your travelers.
Likewise there is no extra fee to work with a Travel Advisor. With AmTrav you can reach out as many times as you need by phone, chat, email, Teams or Slack. We don’t charge extra for helping you.

What if I need business travel help after hours?
No problem, and no extra charge. AmTrav’s all-employee, all-U.S.-based Travel Advisors are available 24x7 so you get the same expert assistance whether it's noon or midnight, no extra charge.

Is there a limit on how many travelers or trips we can have?
Nope, no limits. Unlimited AmTrav for simple, predictable prices with no extra fees for changing trips and contacting our 24x7 all-employee Travel Advisors.

Can employees book personal travel through AmTrav?
Yes! And we will waive any per-trip fees for personal bookings.

Is VIP service extra?
Yes, VIP service is a higher per-trip fee covering the extra proactive service that AmTrav VIP Advisors provide for your VIPs. Good news: instead of only getting a set number of VIPs, with this model you can have as many VIPs as you like.

What's included in Relationship Manager consultative services?
Your AmTrav Relationship Manager is an extension of your team, a travel expert who's available to answer your questions, manage your supplier relationships, maximize your savings and traveler satisfaction. Feel free to schedule regular checkins with your Relationship Manager

Are there any other fees or charges?
There is no setup fee, management fee, extra advisor assistance or trip change fees. The only additional charges are a per ticket charge for unused tickets from other sources (like your old TMC), group travel services based on the needs of each group, a fee per hotel prepay (non-virtual card, as needed), and split-payment bookings. Otherwise there are no other AmTrav charges besides what suppliers (airlines, hotels, car vendors, payment providers, etc.) charge.

Can I bring my own negotiated rates?
Premium customers can bring up to three property-level hotel agreements (loaded and tested by AmTrav for free), Enterprise customers can bring more. Both Premium and Enterprise can bring their own airline and car rental agreements too. AmTrav will also source and negotiate an unlimited number of air, hotel and car rental agreements on Premium and Enterprise customers' behalf to maximize their teams' savings and comfort.

Do you have an API, do you build custom features or integrations?
Yes! We have public-facing APIs that you can use to push or pull traveler profile data, receive payment and expense data. Need something different? Reach out and we'll collaborate on a solution.
