“How much do you charge for that?”

Responding to the Company Dime story about AmTrav’s partnership with Journera to provide real-time trip updates, a reader asked: “I’m wondering how AmTrav may price this into its overall offering? Will it be included as a differentiator or as an optional add-on?”

My first thought: “wait, we could charge for this?” I felt silly!

But a second later, I realized there’s a lot AmTrav doesn’t charge customers for that another company might.

We upgrade our booking technology as often as we can, like with the Southwest Airlines tech upgrade. We improve our booking tool, like the reorganized hotel display with additional rates and COVID-Clean hotel labels. And in response to COVID we launched the Travel Advisories tool, the AmTrav COVID Resource Center, and upgraded our unused ticket tracking and application technology.
